Nicotiana [Micro-Poetry]

Your eyes mirror the ember glow.
My lungs fill with your smoky sigh.
Watch it pour out, anxiety in tow.
I could’ve quit you, but why should I?

I wrote this piece to practice my iambs. I loosely based this poem on an awesome song by Darwin Deez called Last Cigarette. Give it a listen to if you haven’t already.
